At Black Market...

We make it our goal to bring you the highest quality clothes using unique, alternative designs that you won't find anywhere else. (Most companies don't have the guts to put out the designs that we do!)

So why do we do it?

We don't run this company just to make money, we believe what we say with our designs, we live it. If you want to look, act and dress like everyone else, go to the mall. If you want to stand up and make a statement, you're in the right place.

Why Black Market?

The Black Market is a mindset. When you live on the Black Market you won't allow yourself to be put in someone else's box, you won't bow your head and hope for the best. You grab the best by its neck and drag it along behind you. Our Founding Fathers lived on the Black Market, so did Alexander the Great, Christopher Columbus, William Wallace, Joan of Arc, Thomas Edison, Galileo, Isaac Newton and even Cesar. Great warriors and great minds, all lived on the Black Market.

This brings us to the story of one man who lived on the Black Market, Samuel Whittemore.

Samuel Whittemore:

In 1775 Samuel Whittemore was 80 years old. He lived in Massachusetts on the outskirts of Lexington Green. The British tyrants had attacked American Colonists, but were routed from the Green. As the British moved off the field, the Americans gave chase killing British along the way. Samuel Whittemore watched from his house and saw that Americans might be in trouble. He grabbed two dueling pistols, a musket, and a saber and ran out into the field of battle. He took a position by a creek and waited for the British to approach. Now, the position he took was not a tactically good one because it had no avenue of retreat should he get into trouble. But, Samuel Whittemore had no intention of retreating; he would stand to the end in the defense of his new nation. As the British approached to within point blank range, Samuel Whittemore jumped up from his position and fired both pistols into the British column killing two tyrants. Then he pulled his musket off of his shoulder and again fired into the British. At this point the British returned musket fire to Samuel's face, blowing away half of his cheek. He fell to the ground and the British jumped on him thrusting bayonets into his body. He tried to fight them off with the only weapon he had left, his saber but, was ultimately stabbed 13 times. After the British moved and left Samuel for dead, the field doctors came out onto the battle field to collect all the fallen Patriots. When they came to Samuel Whittemore they found him stabbed deeply 13 times with half his face missing... but, he was not dead, he was trying to reload his musket to go back into the fight! Samuel Whittemore eventually healed and lived 18 more years. He died at age 98, but not before he saw America gain its independence, George Washington become our first president and the Constitution written into law. Now that's what we call living on the Black Market!

Unregulated Militia:

We're asked, "why 'Unregulated Militia' when the 2nd Amendment says a 'Well Regulated Militia'?" Simple. Our Well Regulated State Militia's of the past were taken over and are now mostly controlled by the Federal Government. Now they call them Army Reserve Units. This runs contrary to the intent of our Founding Fathers. State Militias were never intended to be tools used by the Federal Government to control American citizens. They were intended to be a defense mechanism used by the States and the people of those states to defend themselves against any enemy, whether that enemy be a foreign enemy or a domestic enemy, such as an out of control government that seeks to overrun state sovereignty and impose tyranny on its people.

These original principals are why the Federal Government had to co-ops the Militias after the War for Southern Independence and turn them into Reserve Units, to further cripple the states. But, they forgot about the people. Our birthright is Liberty and whether we are all active or not, we are all Unregulated Militia.
